Need Help in Generating Report

Greetings All,

I am hoping to find a reporting method that will provide sales versus cost of goods figures similar to what is available in an "X" or "Z" report. I can do my own margin calculations with the final figures if that would otherwise overcomplicate the process.

My additional desire is to be able to query that report (Crystal or otherwise) based upon a date or range of dates or perhaps ZZ reports.

I am not versed in SQL queries, but would appreciate that method if it is truly the best way to go.

Any suggestions or "report code writers" out there?

What is wrong with the Department Sales Report?

Hello Michael,

Thanks for your note.

Here is what I am after.

The "X" and "Z" reports have a "Sales" figure (ex. $2,669.24) which appears right after the "Opening Total". Approximately 21 lines later the "Cost of Goods" report appears (ex. $1,541.98).

I would like to have just these two figures in reports which can be based upon a single date or range of dates or ZZ reports.

Is that more clear?
