When creating a new item (matrix) using the wizard utility, you have the option to include matrix fields in the description as well as in the sub-description sections for quick and easy item generation. It also generates a lookup code for each item contained within the matrix. This process is extremely easy and less time consuming than manually creating each line item.
In my situation, a 30 char limitation in the description field is not enough to properly define my products. Therefore I need a way to see the sub-description fields when performing an item search, inventory transfers, etc. Is there a quick way to view these sub-description fields without having to look at each and every line item within the matrix (properties) or remember each lookup code?
My biggest issue is with inventory transfers as only the description field is available for viewing. What about the extended or sub-description fields? Can I get those headers to show? I dont want to manually redefine each description field with abbreviations, etc. as I have too many products and this would literally take months to do.
