Matrix Item

Hello,

I'm new to MS RMS. I would very much like to have matrix items for my products. My products come in different sizes. You'd think the matrix item construct would be ideal for this, however, I cannot associate different prices to the different item sizes. In my case this is pretty useless.

Here's an example of what I'm trying to accomplish:

Product: Polo Black Sizes & Prices: 1.0 oz @ $39 | 1.7 oz @ $49 | 3.4 oz @ $59

I would really prefer not to make each size its own standard product, so that I can track what goes on with this particular product, Polo Black.

hi Perfm.

Matrix help you for tracking the inventory, ordering and consolidation of inventory. it will create the as many barcodes / item lookup code as many you have the matrix components i.e. size etc.

You need to make each size its own SKU so that you can track stock by SKU - use the new item wizard in SO Manager to create your matrix items, its much quicker - it'll create all the SKUs based on size and/or size/color combinations (even three dimensions such as widths in shoes) - anyway, once the SKUs are created, edit the individual SKUs to reflect the different price/cost each size has.
