Physical Inventory Count Date Error

Jun 21, 2005 1 Replies

Hi All,

In the past I have seen an error messgae appear in Physical Inventory when you attempt to calculate which states something referring to a count date/time error. Problem is I cannot recreate it (to give the full message) and I don't really know what caused it and therefore how to fix it. From memory I think I just left it unprocessed for a day and then it let me calculate - obviously this is not a tangible 'real world' solution and I would like to find the correct way to fix this problem and what causes it.

One last point, I was chasing a time mismatch between different PCs but this has occurred in both 'networked' and single workstation scenarios...

Any Ideas - I want to simulate the problem at all stages from createing the problem to resolveing it.

Thanks for your help!

Kind Regards,

Jason.

I know changing the time stamp from one system can and may cause error messages. We had it happen with the front system that contains the containing and it locked us out of computer programs related to RMS.
