Has anyone found out where program holds next (or last) automatic PO number? Or is there some sort of procedure or function which creates next automatic PO number?

This is done by using the last nr in purchase order table and incrementing this by 1. so if the last nr is 0000001 then the next nr will be 0000002 and so on, as far as i have been told this is a hardcoded store procedure that generates this, and if more than i think 7 digits reached then it will stop functioning.
100% correct, we had a clinet scan a barcode into the ponumber filed and this broke that system becasue a barcode is 13 chars long,
