Hello, Is there another way of creating coupons other then with the tender type. For example with manufacturers coupons that a barcode on them. How do you prevent the cashier from tendering out more then what the coupon value is? Thanks,,,,

If the manufacturer's barcodes are different than your own, you can create line items by scanning the mfrg barcode as your ILC and build the price around that. You can then flag the item effective dates (by blocking sale before coupon is active and after its exp date) as well as cannot change price, etc. I guess I would also create the line item as a voucher as it is not an actual line inventoried item.

Do you think this would work for you?

Oh - I guess this would only work if the mfgr coupon is a flat discount and not a percentage off.
