How do you programm tender types on a programmable keyboard? I know hot to programm the keyboard but what command should it be assigned to the programmed key. For example if I hit tender>crdit cards what command sends rms to do that. Anyone who used a programmable keyboard with rms if you can point me to the right direction I would appriciate it. thanks

Daniel, in SO Managaer, go to Manager/Tender Types/General Tab/Scan Codes. Insert t he Hex Value for the Alpha Character that you want to use to reference the respective tender types in the Scan Code field. Here are the ones I use: Cash (C)™; Check (K)7 Discover (D)0; Gift Card (G)3, Master Card (M)9; Visa (V)8. Then program your programmable keyboard (I use the Preh 3100). Your key for each of the tenders should have the alpha reference that I listed before. The Cash key would simple be the letter (C), Visa would be (V), Master Card would be (M), without the brackets. So when you pressed the Visa key, the programmable keyboard action would be to enter a V. Once it is programmed, in POS enter your items, press the Tender button and then the respective Tender Type button.
