At the moment the Quickbooks interface transfers summary data as journal entries into Quickbooks.
I would like to be able to select if I want to transfer only summary data or all the sales, inventory and tender details as a sales receipt into Quickbooks.
We use lots of bulk items (i.e. assembly items) keeping all their inventory in QB. The bulk items are repackaged into smaller sizes which are sold in our retails store using RMS. Each day we extract the sales and tender details and convert/import it into QB as a sales receipt, thus, updating the bulk item and store item inventory automatically.
Having an RMS/QB interface that allows me to transfer all the sales details would eliminate the need of extracting the sales and tender details, formatting them in Excel into QB format, creating an IIF file that ultimately is imported as sales receipt into QB.
The interface should allow (via preferences) a hard-stop if an item does not exist in QB (to avoid that an item is created with the wrong item type).
