RECEIPTS: Hide up item look up code in receipt

My buyer and I are wondering, how would you change the receipt to hide/not show the item lookup code in the receipt.

Any help would be appreciated.

hi Ryan, its very easy to do so, make a backup of receipt.xml file under: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\ReceiptTemplates or whereever you installed the program.

Then open the receipt.xml file in notepad and find the "Entry.Item.ItemLookupCode" and just cut from whole code whereever it appears and then save the file. then again to to SO Manager program> Database

and click the browse button to reattach it. believe me it will work and rate me when it works.

Thank you Akber, it worked a treat. I wasn't sure if there was a relationship between the ItemLookUpCode and the description.

All I have to do now is working out the formatting.
