RMS on Netbook?

Has anyone tried running RMS 2.0 on a netbook with an Atom processor and XP OS? They have gotten cheap enough that I was thinking of setting one up for portable inventory checking.

I've been wondering the same thing. I don't think there would be a problem, but it would be nice to know for sure before we go buy one. Anyone?

Marc, I can't say that we have done it, but you may run into some performance issues. I know the RMS 2.0 running on a Celron processor is sloooow, and from everything I have read Atom processors are not made to fly. For your case though, speed may not be an issue if you are not checking out customers.

Thank you,

I figured it would be slow. We would mostly use it for spot checking inventory. I have one at home, maybe I'll test it out on a slow day.
