We are opening a store in Central Florida that will also provide fulfillment for our exsting web-based mail order business. We need a solution that will allow us to export customer and product/inentory information to a central database. To date, we've seen solutions that are very mail-order specific (like Mail Order Manager) whilst RMS seems very store-specific. Has anyone else used RMS or POS for this kind of scenario? We intend to use QuickBooks Retail Edition for general accounting.
