Scenario: HQ running in a headquarters office; Distribution Center running store ops manager for transfer out and transfer in activity; multiple stores running store ops suite, stores get their inventory from DC based on restock and reorder points at item level.
HQ is responsible for creating the DC transfer out and store transfer IN, based on current stock levels being below the min level. It appears that the
330 inventory transfer worksheet computes the transfer out qties based on CURRENT store qties in the HQ database, so if I have an in-transit period of 4 days, it'll be 4 (maybe 5) days that need to go by before store receives the transfer in, polls with HQ and updates the store qties at HQ; HQ needs to run the inventory transfer worksheet daily as part of store replenishment procedures, so on day 2 it duplicates the transfer outs created yesterday because receiving store's onhand qties at HQ still show they are below the min level.Is there a way to run the 330 inventory transfer worksheet so it takes into account transfer worksheets that have been run in the last X days (where X would match the in-transit time to my stores)? Or has somebody come up with a SQL query to create the 330 worksheet first based on HQ store levels vs. min/max, then removing an item from the worksheet if its ID is found on an existing worksheet going back X number of days...?
