On a somewhat related note, can the 190 and 501 worksheets be filtered so it does not upload quantites for the entire item master? Our stores have tens of thousands of SKUs (using matrix items for size and color causes item master bloat), but may only do a cycle count of a particular department or category with only a thousand SKUs. I only want to sync the inventory for those items, but if I try to sync my inventories, it tries to update the entire catalog, and my worksheet times out after a half hour.

Hi Bill - not out of the box, that I know of - the 501 is a FULL item count, so it counts all items and uploads all items.

You probably want to increase your timeout on the Headquarters Client to 60 min (or more) there is a KB that addresses this or check with your RMS partner (if you have one) on how to extend the timeout on HQ Client.

I've tried that. I set the timeout to 60 minutes, but it would still puke after 30. As far as checking with my RMS reseller, I AM an RMS reseller now, working for my old partner after a job shakeup. They/we didn't know how to do this, either. Wasn't sure if there were any tips or tricks out there, but apparently not.
