We use MS RMS to manage 14 stores connected to an HQ database. We have a store that completed a full physical inventory count but they began trading again before committing the count. Will this have any detrimental consequences on the stock levels reported, either at store or HQ? Or does this system calculate stock levels correctly assuming that the commited count is for the point at which the physical inventroy record was calculated, regardless of the commitment date/time? Thanks in advance
Commiting Physical Inventory COunts

Dave,
If they put the proper count date and time in the physical inventory, the system will adjust for it.
Jeff,
having now looked at this in more detail "after the fact", I have found that the count date was set correctly but the InventoryTransferLog (and thus the item movement reporting) is seeing the Physical Inventory Adjustments as at the time the Count was Committed rather than as at the count time.
So I'm now a bit c> Dave,
