SBA & RMS

Is it just me or is the SBA RMS Connector not working correctly?

I've set everything up, and when I go to import the register journals, it says that debits and credits do not match up and it kicks me out. I then try to just import the P.O's and it says that "The financial date of the document must be in an existing open fiscal year". I've got a bunch of POs that are from last year but they have been updated recently. I think the connector is seeing the updated date and not the created date and kicking it out. I just can't get anything imported into SBA - makes me just want to chuck it and get Quickbooks.

Darryl,

You need to double & triple check that you have a credit for every debit and visa versa. You will have the same issues with QB if not right.

Saw a neat tool to double check the entries before actually posting to an program the other day, unfortunately only worked with GP and $$$.

We still recommend to our clients to go with QB. Suggest you give SBA another year to mature!

Jeff,

I'm just trying to import the purchase orders and sales. Is there some other step I have to do first before doing this? There's no accounting function in RMS, as far as I know. Without my sales and purchase orders transferred to SBA, the software is worthless as this is where my cost info and gross sales should be calculated from. Any suggestions?

Darryl,

Purchase Orders won't transfer until closed, sales transfer as a $ amount to your GL account for sales.

Have you not looked at this KB article on how accounts are mapped between RMS/MSPOS and SBA?
