Can payments be made from a back office mechine, or dose it have to be from a cash register? If it can be done from a back office computer-How? The adjust customer account will not do.

Matt,
You can't through Manager, if you _really_ need to do it in back, open POS and do the payment, then close it. You can open POS on any station subject to your license. Just make sure to close the batch on that machine at the end of the day.
Where you gonna put the money you collect? cigar box ;-)
