Stock ageing report

I'm interested to see how others check on old/slow moving stock. Ideally I would like to see current stock on hand aged according to last shipments received (on a FIFO basis) showing days stock on hand (ie today's date minus last received shipment dates expressed in days) and facility to report on stock in excess of certain number of days (eg list all stock quantities/value on hand that has been on the shop floor for longer than 90 days). I don't believe this can be generated from the standard RMS reports - perhaps needs to be done as a custom Crystal report??

The standard RMS reports (and I think of all reports) is a result of a query.. I have the same request of 1 customer that need to know day by day the item's quantity available into the stores and the costs of sold item and purchase order (standard, inventory transfer, transfer in/out, return to supplier) ...

I wrote a first report for this customer, but the report (external software) is very slow because for each item must be generate all movements...
