I would like to be able to group the tender summary report by tender type instead of register #, so I get all sales by each of my tender types.
Can you please advise how to modify existing report to accomplish this.

Drag the Tender column header to the left so its the first column in the report

Yep! The first column is _almost_ always your first or primary sort/group method for _most_ reports.
Sometimes it produces some screwy looking stuff, so you may have to mess with the Groupings icon too.
Mike, After you follow what Jeff is saying about grouping, you can always Memorize the report as well so you will not have to keep on sorting and grouping every time you run. Just click the little disc at the top of the report to Memorize it, then title it, and say OK.
