Is there a way I can find the total tax charged in the day per tender?
In example: Total Sales: 100.00 (80.00 Cash + 20.00 CreditCard) Total Tax: 8.00 (6.40 Cash + 1.60 CreditCard)
I need to know how much tax i charged on the CreditCard Sales for accounting purposes.
I don't believe RMS has a way to do this automatically. RMS only keeps track of the sub-total and tax amounts per transaction, and the amounts that were used on each tender type. It does not go so far to split the taxes across tender types. I'm curious what country/state/province requires this?
You would have to either do the calculations manually, or write a report using Crystal Reports which can do the calculation for you.
