various Prices at stores

I am just working now on moving to an HQ/SO system from a single store, so I am no expert. However, I read somewhere that HQ has an option to allow stores to have thier own cost and price. If you select this option, HQ will have a default price, but each store's SO database will have it's price independently. If you change a price at the store, it will not update at HQ.

I'm not sure what happens if you update the price at HQ - I susect that if you create a NEW item at HQ, it will download at all of the stores using the HQ price initially, but I don't know how price changes are reflected... On that note, I am not sure if you can update an individual store's price from HQ.

you can make use of pricing levels...there are 3 price levels...you can also make use of sale price if you want to,....anyway the control of updating those price levels lies in your hands. I fyou don't sent worksheet to update those prcie levels then it will not be overwritten.
