Can't get the VPN button to work from the sales screen but I am sure it is possible to do with the custom button options I just don't know which stye to use in the custom button properties screen. It works fine for any exe. programs but it does offer all files and I can put the file in the window but I get a data error warning.
Is there a way to write the connection as an exe.? Currently it is under Network Connections.
Hi Matt, That gets the system 32 window to open and it seems to try and sign on, can see it checking password, but then it goes away with nothing apparent coming from it. Did give me another idea though, I linked it to control.exe and that opens the control panel and then you can click network connections and then the VPN. Is there a possibility that I could get it to go thru those steps from the custom button? C:\WINDOWS\system32\control.exe\networkconnections\RMS VPN or something like that?
if the vpn name has a space in it, you will need to put quotes around the connection name. C:\WINDOWS\system32\rasdial.exe "RMS VPN"
