What options do I have for electronically sending a purchase orde.

I have the Microsoft Retail Management System install in my store. My vendor wants me to send him my purchase order in an electronic format instead of faxing it to them. What options do I have?

Russell,

Print it through a PDF printer. and e-mail it as an attachment. I heard that there are some free ones online.

Good luck, Matt

Russell,

As NJ suggests you can export the PO as an email attachment in HTML or XML format by utilizing the export function within Print Preview.

If you need something more sophisticated our PO Loader add-in can be customized to push a PO to your supplier's order entry system. Contact me off-list for more information.

I transmit as well as receive my orders electronicly by using MS Access. I convert the PO into a ASCII file .Then I can recieve the invoice in the same file and use this to make any changes to my PO(Cost,Qty). Was pretty straight forward.

Good Luck
