We ran our last quarter(4th '04) Quarterly Wage Report (UC-7823) in mid Jan. and it had the wrong ssn's for the correct employees. The employees and $$ were correct, just the ssn's were being pulled by from the wrong, sometimes old employees. When we run it today, all is fine?!?! Anyone else have this problem? Did QB send a fix and we did not know about?
Jan 13th - We ran report, it DID NOT say we needed to 'update'. The report was wrong(the taxids did not match up with current employees. We where unaware of this until the STATE questioned the taxids from former employees.)
Feb 23rd - We ran the report again and all data was in line and ok.
We 'restored' data from Feb 4th. When we tried to run the report, it asked if we wanted to 'update'. We said 'no'. When the report was run, the report was wrong, data was like Jan 13th. We ran the report again, but this time said 'yes' to 'update'. When the report was finished, all was ok.
This leads us to believe that an update to payroll, after Jan 13th, fixed that report. Don't you think the fix should have been done before 12-31-04? We are trying to find an email address to contact Quickbooks regarding this. We do not want to call again, because support is not helpful on this issue.
