How do you post check card purcheses and have them come off of your bank balance? Jere

My business VISA drafts once a month from my checking account. Basically it's a debit card.
I enter the transaction into my main check register. I don't put a check number but use "VISA" as the number instead.
I've been doing this successfully for more than 3 years.
