I just made a new template for my invoices which made some changes to the original one. Now - how do I convert all of the 2006 invoices to the new one? I want them all to use the new template - even past invoices. Thanks!
It doesn't work like that. Part of the beauty (and frustration) of QB is that you can choose a different template for each invoice and it is saved that way. QB remembers the last invoice template used on a new invoice, and remembers that as the new default.
The only way to have the new template saved with the older invoices is to go to those invoices, change the template and save it. No reason to, in my opinion, unless you plan on reprinting the invoice.
