We use 2007 contractor edition. Our job end dates are determined by when a job has been installed, passed final inspection and paid for. We would like a report of jobs by installation date alone. Can we create a user defined field for the installation date and filter a report by this info?

In the customer files, you can define fields and create one for installation date. Then you can modify a report to include that field and sort by it. Try it out!
