Delete prior years

How does one delete prior years from the books completely due to errors when I was learning, that my accountant thought would be the quickest and easiest fix? I will of course have a back up copy should I need it down the road. Thanks

You can delete *ALL* transactions, but not just selected prior years'. If your accountant thinks differently, I suggest finding an accountant who has used bookkeeping software - ANY bookkeeping software - and knows better.

Assuming a recent version of QuickBooks: File, Archive & Condense Data, Remove ALL transactions.
