emailing paychecks stubs?

Hi all, is there any way to set it up so that when i do payroll it automatically emails the paycheck stubs to my employees. they really don't want paper paycheck stubs, they'd prefer i email them instead of print them. i know i can print to a Microsoft Image, but that is a pain to have to do every time. i was hoping i could do it similar to the way i email the invoices? is that possible?

thanks,

Carla

You could download software such as Cute PDF or Primo PDF writers, then create PDF files for each employee - hook them to emails and send. Otherwise I don't believe there is a way to do this.

You didn't state your version or country .. so I'm assuming USA and recent version.

Cal, according to my version of QB, you should be able fax or email the paystubs.

The SS# isn't on the paystub. The name and address are, but those are avialable all over the place. Anything is possible, but I don't see any real danger in emailing the paystubs. (I'm not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV or the internet).

Maybe the employees want them to prevent the loss or mutilation of a piece of paper. If the pay goes direct deposit, some sort of paystub is required by law. Paper, or email. QB allows for reprint. I have a client who insists on writing the checks manually, but gives the employees a printed stub.

And if they don't want to buy a scanner? Some folks might not take such a highhanded dictate kindly.

If you use a program like PolyView it's not a Pain. It's a few key strokes . . . (button) (into the email message)

It took me just 7 seconds if my email program was alread running
