GL rreport spanning a year end

Follow post Save Hide Report

On QB pro 2008, I notice that when I try to show a GL report spanning

12/.31/07, QB only shows the 2008 transactions. Thus to review the transactions, I have to print two separate reports. Is there a way around this?
