My company has several rather large QuickBooks (Contractor Edition 6.0) data files. Our largest , which is around 540 MB, has been slowly decreasing in speed and performance. Our controller believes that removing a large chunk of old (2004) closed POs will help our accounting department avoid the increasing delays whenever certain transactions are made while in multi-user mode. I hate to sound ignorant here, but I am. So let me ask:
1) Is there a way to remove/export a certain rainge of POs?
2) Would doing so indeed speed up, say, invoice processing?
