On a checking account, I have a payment automatically withdrawn by a Utility company. QB09Pro wants a "CHK" in the Type box, I am thinking should be a Debit? but have no idea on how to change that. Any help appreciated.
You can't change the transaction type. It is based on how you are entering the transaction: chk (checks), dep (deposit), BillPymt (bill payment), etc. I think you get the idea.
A debit card transaction is just an electronic "check". Instead of a check number just use "Debit" so that you can distinguish it from a real check.
