How can Quickbooks provide recurring and monthly billing from yearly invoices/statements?
well, here's what I did:
in the memorized transactions window, i created 12 groups: January 31, February 30, and so on... one for each month. i have set each month to automatically enter once per year, on the date of the month group. (January 31). then, if somebody has an annual recurring invoice for in January, i create and invoice and "memorize it" (cntrl+M) and put it in the january group, which will automatically enter every january.
in a nutshell, i have 12 groups, one for each month, with each group having a hndfull of memorized transactions for cusotmers who's annuals come up during that month. i have also setup a 13th group called "Monthly" which enters EVERY month for my customers who are billed on a monthly basis. so, each month, 2 groups automatically enter: the monthly group, and whichever annual group month it is this month.
