Display Class on Transaction Report

Feb 16, 2006 2 Replies

I'm using QBPro 2005 (US), and when I print a Transaction Report by Date, no class information is displayed (under the Class column) except for those transactions associated with Payroll. Why is that?

I have class tracking turned on.

I have entered class information for each disbursement and/or deposit. I have also selected classes for the various expense/revenue accounts that get hit via journal entries. I've searched the QB help, but to no avail.

Is there a way to display the class information when I print the Transaction Report by Date?

All responses are appreciated.

Transaction detail for what account? Classes only exist for income and expense accounts.

I'm with you.

I would expect that when I enter a disbursement, code it to a certain expense account, and then associate a particular class, that this information would be displayed on the transaction report.

But it's not. So what am I doing incorrectly?
