Quicken Deluxe Version: R59.18 Build: 27.1.59.18
Grasping at straws ...
Is there any hope in recovering 'missing' transactions in Quicken? I've tried Validates & Super Validates incl Rebuild Lots & Prices etc. and there's always "No Joy in Mudville".
Is there any method/trick/technique for copying an account from one Qkn File into another?
I have a Quicken Account (IRA CD @ BOA) that has gone to zero and all transaction history has disappeared! (The CD is still active on the BOA Site and the 3rd Quar 2024 Statement has been rec'd.)
The Account shows in Home->Our Accounts and the Accounts List Bar and Edit Account Details displays like all others. No Register opens, however, because there no longer are any transactions.
An Account Overview a/o Today (10/19/2024) shows the zero balance and a Last Transaction Date of 08/17/2024. An Account Overview a/o 08/16/2024 show a proper non-zero balance.
I certainly didn't go into the Account's Register on the 17th and do something overt to delete all its transaction history. That history includes transfers into and out of other Accounts to make matters worse.
I was doing some Deactivate/Add Account sequences around then (maybe then?) but why would that cause Quicken to lose its 1st Trx pointer?
Anyway, does anyone have some other ideas of things to try?
Does anyone know if Support might have some sort of a utility they could provide that might be able locate and re-attach [that] 1st transaction? I have to believe they're still in the QDF File just detached.
Thanks for any ideas. Geo. Salisbury Long Valley, NJ
