Is it possible to import data (journal entries) into quickbooks from any kind of data file, e.g., a .csv or "comma-separated variable" file? Where is this written up?
I would like to set up a system where a person with an independent checkbook can keep a check register in Excel, which would then be exported from Excel to a .csv file or some other portable format, that the organization treasurer could then input into Quickbooks without having to manually key in the data from reading a printed copy of the Excel spreadsheet checkbook register.
