Can anyone tell me if there is a way to open a file that is password protected? I forgot my password for an old company file, and the password I thought it was, apparently is not.

Unfortunately I think the only way to do that will cost money, either for the software or to have someone do it for you...
If you type "QuickBooks Password Recovery" (without the quotes) into the Google search box, you will get numerous hits, many of which look inexpensive and promising.
