Last week, Quicken updated itself to R4. Subsequently, when I tried to open my password-protected file, Quicken would render the file then immediately terminate itself. I had to find an old backup copy that woud remain open then catch up with all my transactions. Everything was fine for a few days and now the problem is back: my "good" file terminates the program. Also, Quicken can not validate the file; it says to call customer service. I haven't done that yet. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
