Popup/Prompt/Window on Quickbooks startup

Hi guys,

I've been getting this message whenever I open Quickbooks today. Any idea what it imeans?

-------------------- Feature in use

The automatic entry of memorized transactions that are due today is being skipped because they are already being entered by gly.

This is bad because whenever I use a program that accesses Quickbooks via the SDK it bombs out because this message comes up and won't allow access until someone clicks on it. Is there anyway I can turn off these type of startup messages? I tried turning off the reminders in preferences but I guess that is something else.

Any helps would be greatly appriciated. Much thanks!

"gly" has logged in and hasn't dismissed the box asking if he wants to enter the memorized transactions.

Now if that isn't what is going on, then you may need to log on as "gly", dismiss the box and log off. Could be QB has its bits twisted in a little file corruption. You might also want to run a rebuild.

Then reading your post another way, you may just end up with a problem that instead of the "gly" box you get the "there are xx memorized transactions to enter" box and your program will crash with that. In this case you need to go to your memorized transactions list and turn off all automatic entry. Sorry, that's the way the quickbooks crumbles.

Interesting, Thanks for the reply. I think I'll turn off automatic entry. I'm not sure if we use that.
