Am doing a report on sales for individual customers. I am only selecting the name-date-quantity. What I see is my customers name with the one date and quantity showing 3 times - I only want one date and one quantity showing. Have tried all the custom items and cannot get it to only show one...any help would be appreciated. Of course, this report includes ALL my customers and there is a large data base.

I simply want to know why the date and quantity repeats itself 3 times when I only want 1 displayed.
What you "want" has to be effectively communicated to the program. The program is not, in spite of the programmer's best efforts, not clairvoyant.
My best guess - and I, too, am not clairvoyant - is that you're getting three lines on the report because the data appears three times in the database.

Seriously, though, just what, exactly, are you asking?
What is the name of the QB report you are modifying? What customizations have you tried? And, most importantly, just what do you want to see? Your question is obtuse.
