Several times when trying to switch companies, QB locks up. From that point on, I was unable to switch companies or use the Backup Function in QB without locking up. When opening QB after this happened I get the message QB was not closed properly and it was reverting back to its last saved record. This appears to be a file problem but when I try to use the Rebuild file function I am unable to get there. What I have just learned is that if I hold the control key down while bringing up QB I can get to the rebuild function and rebuild my file and fix the problem. I hope this will help someone else.
