I am setting up employees for limited access and wish to disable the reminders overview. This is the screeen with sensitive bank account info, overdue payments, Alerts, Checks to print, Money to deposit, Bills to pay etc. It is non of their business. Any ideas on how to restrict?

QB has MINIMUM, and in my opinion, almost useless security features.
The option to display the reminders screen is in PERSONAL, (not company) preferences. Company preferences include what types of reminders will show on the screen. THIS MEANS you can prevent 'unauthorized' viewing of the reminders screen ONLY IF YOU DISABLE THE FEATURE ENTIRELY.
QB is *NOT* the program to use if you want your data secure from your bookkeeping staff.
QB is Quicken on steroids. It is a single user program that has been hacked into a multi-user program. Not for use in a big company where management can't afford to trust employees. It actually offers no data security as there are several programs available to recover the admin password. As QB requires full R/W access be available to the user so they can copy the entire file off to another place and then crack it wide open. The moral, don't put anything in QB that you expect to be private. It's worse than Windoze for security.
