TEMPS

Which list would you put a temporary employee who will make under $600. How about one over $600.

I guess you could put the first on a list of temporary employees who will make under $600, and the other on a list of temporary employees who will make over $600.

Or maybe I didn't understand your question.

He wants to know if he can violate Federal and State laws and not properly classify an employee as an employee.

Don't forget you still owe workers comp to your temps, and if you choose not to treat them as employee's and the Feds don't like it, you pay all their taxes in addition to all the employer taxes you should have paid, with penalties and interest.

Does this answer your question?

Anyone I would hire, who would make less than their basic personal exemptions from me and any other employer that year, would be classified as "casual labour". But talk to your accountant.

Unless you're in Arizona and hire Mexicans.

You don't have to hire them.

Home Depot gives away a free Mexican with the purchase of any leaf-blower.

Limited time offer. Hillary's hispanic V.P. will put a stop to that.
