Value of Loan Manager

For non administrative users, whenever we start the Loan Manager under Quickbooks Premier 2007, Quickbooks just disappears entirely. A user logged in as administrator under Windows is able to open up the Loan Manager. Does anyone know which files might be getting created or modified by the Loan Manager?

In general, is the Loan Manager worth using? Is its primary value in helping to track interest and principal on a loan over time?

Is it buggy in general or otherwise not worth the trouble to make it work?

Yes. Isn't it nice to see that the intellectual processes of some folks continue to evolve and grow --- rather than stagnate and decay?
