A ledger for each security?

Is there anything in Quicken that would allow me to create a ledger for each security I own? This ought to include all transactions for each selected security in date order, and columns for

Date Account Action Security Quote Shares Share Balance Value of balance (maybe?)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Upon rereading my prior post (below), I realize that I was not clear. I am looking for a report in ledger format.

Let me point you to alt.comp.financial.quicken where you can ask your question.

I don't understand your question. Do you mean "table" when you say "ledger form"? Anyhow, the quicken newsgroup will be better able to answer your questions.

My provider doesn't seem to have alt.comp.financial.quicken. It only has alt.comp.software.financial.quicken (where I posted this). I'll look at other providers. Thanks for the tip!

After doing a lot of searching, I have not been able to find alt.comp.financial.quicken. Could you please tell me where you found it?

Your question about "ledger" is perfectly legitimate. I use the word in a quirky word (and it helped me not get many answers to my question). Here, all I mean is a report with Dates, items, plus and minus transactions, and a running balance. It looks much like the record you'd keep of your checkbook. Is there a more accepted word for that kind of report?

I think that alt.comp.financial.quicken indeed does not exist. This is the usenet group for Intuit products, but mainly Quicken. I believe there is a Home and Business group too, but I'm not sure. Ther is definitely a German group .

I think your best bet is to get as close as you can with a customized transaction report. Then save it for importing into a spreadsheet and go from there.

alt.comp.software.financial.quicken - but you appear to be posting from a web site that interfaces with usenet as your messages are showing up here.

I think, Robert, that you mean the OP. I post through Astraweb directly to usenet.
