Agent problem

Well, I use Agent (2.0/32.652) with cable connection but Win98SE. Have no problem. Is this the only group you have problems with? Any error message, or does the message just never get posted? What news server do you use? How many other groups do you post to using Agent and the same news server?

One more question. Have you looked in the Agent Outbox? Does that indicate that the message was sent or that the attempt failed. If it failed then it is a problem with the address or perhaps a refusal by your news server to accept the message. If it was sent successfully, then the problem is further down the line.

A couple of weeks ago I was having problem replying to messages from one individual. he had apparently messed with the header in his messages so that the Reply To address was invalid. Don't know if this was by accident or on purpose. Other them this one person, I have never had a problem posting to this group (though I'm sure that some here would hope I would.) .

Thanks folks I neglected to advise that my news server requires with a cable connection I use Agent with Stunnel and this program has proven a bit quirky. With a dial-up connection and Agent I get error 441

Outlook Express works so I will not persevere with Agent for this group.
