Can Quicken Premier 2005 calculate YTD return for a particular security if you bought that security during the current year?
In February I purchased Y shares of security X in which I did not have a position at the start of the current year. And then, say, I made several purchases of security X until the present. Now I want to know what my YTD return is for that security.
I get N/A in the "Return (%) YTD" column for many of my securities, and I noticed that for those securities I established a position only in the current year. I've read previous related threads but couldn't conclude either way.
