Copying file - ???

Q2004 Premier. File > File Operations > Copy. The resulting QDF file is slightly smaller than the original, which kinda makes me nervous. Is there any reason it might not be an exact copy?

We have discussed/mulled this many times. I don't remember whether Intuit has confirmed this or not (I'm pretty sure they have insinuated something like it), but the theory is that the process removes logically deleted data. I have never heard of anyone experiencing problems from doing a Quicken copy and it is recommended by Intuit for certain situations, in combination with Validate/super-Validate ... I have done it more than once and before every conversion.
