I have a backup on zip drive. It consists of files ending in the extensions QEL, QSD, QPH, and files called 2002bkp (25 meg), 2002 bkp.idx, and Q3. I had to remove Quicken 2004 from my PC when I upgraded from Win 98 to Win 98SE. I reloaded Quicken from the orignal disk and it worked fine. When I went to do a RESTORE function, the only file on the Zip drive that showed up in the file directory was
2002bkp which I chose and opened. Now all my account names are listed as N/A so it is useless. There seem to be no entries in the checkbooks although the totals in each account seem to be there without valid names. If there are several files in the backup folder, how do you get the RESTORE function to use them all? Why would I get N/A for all the names of the accounts? Appreciate some guidance as it is tax time.
