Hi, Sam.
We're trying to help you, but you are not making it easy by starting a new thread with a new Subject about the same problem - and without quoting the prior context. :>(
Since you are using Outlook Express, please click Tools | Options... On the Send tab, make sure there is a check in the box in front of "Include message in reply". Then go back to your original post (Help..., posted by Sam on
1/2/06 at 1300 GMT - I guess that was about noon Monday in Belgium). Read your post, then read the replies from Han and Mike and pick one of them to reply to. Then click Reply Group. This will open the Compose window with "Re: Help..." in the Subject line, showing that it refers to the previous message, and with the original message and reply quoted (the leading ">" on each line shows that it is quoted material).. This is how we make a "thread" or "conversation", rather than disjointed messages that are very hard to keep in order. With "the thread to date" already in your Reply, you can then continue, rather than starting from scratch each time.
There are 3 Reply options. Reply to Group is the proper response in almost all cases; it posts your message here. Reply to Sender sends an email to the person who posted the message; Netiquette frowns on email responses to newsgroup posts unless email is specifically invited (which is rare) or the subject veers from the topic of the newsgroup. Reply to All sends messages to both the sender and the group; this is rarely appropriate.
I'm glad you used a better Subject line for your second post. "Help..." is so generic that many readers will simply skip that message.
