Just downloaded today's closing stock prices and Target (TGT) showed up at over $200.

Checked elsewhere and found the real close at $47.66.

Fooey.

I have seen that happen before. The I compared with Yahoo Finance to find the folly in Quicke's downloaded price. F'n PITA !

I thought it was just yesterday but it happened again this morning for my Pimco fund (RCS). Should have been 10.80 but Quicken (Deluxe 2010) has it as $656.60. I wish :-D

FWIW: Q2010 is unable to find a security with the ticker RCS this morning (9:15 am CST). But Quicken thinks the ticker TGT is for something called "DJ Target Today" (a "Market Index"); which has, not coincidentally I suspect ("TGT showed up at over $200"), a price of $208.52 as of

12/15/2009.

They're apparently "investigating" the problem. You can sign up to be notified when it's fixed.

The quotes I just downloaded appeared to be correct, or at least were within a range where they didn't jump out at me as being absurdly wrong.

No notification, but I really don't care, so long as it's fixed.

I was less than pleased to see that Quicken had entered the stocks in the 401(k) according to some scheme of their own. I have enough trouble tracking the mutual funds, but creating their own stocks? (IIRC, one was
